THE FORGOTTEN SPACE seeks to understand and describe the contemporary maritime world in relation to the complex symbolic legacy of the sea. The film follows the container transport aboard ships, barges, trains and trucks, listening to workers, engineers, politicians and those marginalised by the global transport system.
THE FORGOTTEN SPACE is produced by Doc.Eye Film Amsterdam in co-production with WILDart Film Vienna and broadcasting company VPRO.
